How do we help you raise finance?

 

After receiving your business plan through the website, we review the fundamentals to see if it stands a reasonable chance of raising finance. If suitable, we will invite you to one of our Investment Clinics which are held every two weeks with no charge or obligation from either side.

  • Then we help you prepare and refine your business plan - although you'll need to write most of it yourself, as investors want to see your views on how you see the business developing
  • Once we've completed the business plan, we put together realistic and complete financial forecasts and flex the key financial assumptions to see what happens if things don't quite go to plan. From this we can establish the level of funding required, allowing for a reasonable amount of 'headroom'.
  • We then help you estimate a value of your business, which determines what percentage you would need to give away to attract investment, as well as identifying appropriate sources of finance to help you put together a suitable funding package.
  • After that, we take you through the investor due diligence process and highlight any potential investor concerns
  • With the investment readiness work complete, we pull together an Envestors Information Pack (EIP), which is a comprehensive briefing package providing an investor with the key information they will require to evaluate your proposal.
  • And for the finishing touches, we help with your investment grooming to prepare you for investor presentations and negotiations.

Be prepared, this process can take up to three months to complete.
