Envestors launches Envestors MENA (Middle East and North Africa) in Dubai
In April 2008, Envestors signed a Memorandum of Understanding with two highly respected members of the UAE community to launch Envestors MENA in Dubai.
Edward Roderick (pictured below with Oliver Woolley in the London office), lives and works in Dubai and is an experienced CEO and Non-Exec previously having been Group CEO of Christian Salvesen plc.
David Moleshead moved to Dubai in 2000 as Managing Director (Middle East) for HSBC and is currently Vice Chairman of ACUMA, a wealth management company based in Dubai.
Together, we offer private investors in the MENA region access to interesting dealflow in the UK. We are also looking for investable early-stage ventures with high growth potential in the Middle East and North Africa.
Envestors MENA will offer host its first event in Dubai on September 16th 2008, when 6 exciting young companies will be given 8 minutes each to present the investment opportunities to investors based in Dubai. The event after this will be on November 18th 2008.
