• We will assess all options for raising funds, not just private equity. We look to put together a funding package, especially for the larger deals, where raising it all through Angels would be a tall order.
• We ensure you are fully 'investment ready' before presenting your proposal to investors, to increase the chance of closing the funding round.
• We have all been involved in either owning or investing in small businesses. We are not advisors straight from business school, nor are we investment bankers who know little about early-stage ventures (well... Bob was for a while)
• We will explore the availability of grant funding to subsidise a proportion of our fees. For businesses based in London we can usually access some grants to help pay for our fees.
• We will market your business through all our funding sources and contacts - not just our own Private Investors Club (Envestors Private Investor Club).
• We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Many in this space aren't, which means they can't provide you with finance advice.
